How to Use QRthat

Create a customized QR code in under 30 seconds with our free QR code generator. Follow these simple steps to generate, style, and download your QR code.

1

Choose Your Content Type

Select what kind of data your QR code should contain. QRthat supports five input types: URL for website links, Text for plain messages, Email for email addresses, WiFi for network credentials, and Phone for phone numbers.

2

Enter Your Content

Type or paste your content into the input field. The QR code preview updates in real time as you type — no need to click a "Generate" button. For WiFi, fill in the network name, password, and encryption type.

3

Pick a Visual Theme

This is where QRthat shines. Choose from six unique visual themes that change the QR code's dot pattern, corner style, and color palette. Try Cyberpunk for neon green on dark, Retro for warm vintage tones, or Candy for a playful pastel look.

4

Add Your Logo (Optional)

Drag and drop an image file (SVG, PNG, JPG, or GIF up to 2MB) onto the upload area, or click to browse. Your logo appears centered in the QR code with built-in error correction ensuring scannability.

5

Download or Share

Click Download to get a print-ready PNG or scalable SVG. Use the Share button to send the QR image via your device's share menu or copy it to your clipboard.

Tips for Best Results

  • • Keep URLs short — shorter data means a less dense, easier-to-scan QR code
  • • Test your QR code with your phone camera before printing or sharing
  • • Use SVG format if you need to resize the QR code for large print materials
  • • Choose a theme with good contrast between the dots and background for best scannability
  • • Logos should be simple and small — complex logos may affect scan reliability
